3M appoints Otis exec Anurag Maheshwari as new CFO

Industrial conglomerate 3M has named Anurag Maheshwari, an executive from elevator maker Otis Worldwide, as its new chief financial officer, starting September 1. He will replace Monish Patolawala, who resigned in July after serving in the role for four years.

In the meantime, 3M’s senior vice president Teri Reinseth will serve as the company’s Interim CFO.

Maheshwari joined Otis in 2020 and spent two years in the Asia Pacific region as vice president, finance, information technology and chief transformation officer and is currently the executive vice president and CFO at the company.
